Understanding & Preventing
burn-out in teachers
The pandemic was a challenging year for all of us.
The education system is also affected significantly. Our founder-director, Dr. Mridula Apte took a session with teaching professionals from Fergusson college, Pune to understand and prevent burnout. Teachers face both a significant workload as well as an emotional, very ethical and passionate approach towards their profession. An interesting and important discussion followed the lecture.
Empowering maids
It is crucial that access to mental wellness is available for all. This program is specifically for house help (maids) and aims at bridging the gap between different stratas of society, while offering a safe and non judgemental space for these women to reach out, talk, ask questions and learn. Experts from allied fields are called and help and guidance is offered.
Women & Mental Health
Our director and founder Dr. Mridula Apte was invited to speak at a forum for community workers by the Development Support Team, an NGO in Pune, working in the area of strengthening organizational structures of various sections of society that need help, and is especially women centric.
She discussed women's mental health, various thought processes and the various ways to deal with related issues.
This included interesting activities conducted by our team Clinical Psychologist Rujuta Deshmankar.
