Vidula Child and Adolescent Guidance Centre

At this centre we offer holistic services that make it easier for the parent and child to avail treatment under one roof. Developmental difficulties often affect academic performance and lead to behaviour problems in children. Attention deficit, inability to sit in one place for long, distracting others and disturbing the classroom, can all be reasons of worry for the parent and need prompt attention. Other neurodevelopmental problems are also screened and appropriate interventions are suggested.

Similarly, anxiety before school, during play, or while doing routine tasks is also common. Bed wetting, psycho-somatic complains of bad stomach, nervous habits, sleep disturbances, irrational fears are all problems that worry the parent and need solutions.

Conduct problems like lying and stealing from a young age can lead to tough challenges in adulthood.

At Vidula’s Child Guidance Centre, effective treatment plans are designed.

For Adolescents

Adolescence is a challenging transition phase for most individuals and their parents. In this phase children go through many physical and emotional changes and feelings of confusion, anxiety, anger and rebellion are common. Most of the times, adolescents work out their issues with the support of friends and family. However, sometimes, they do seek expert help themselves. At other times, parents feel worried about certain issues that seem to not get resolved. At such times, professionals at our centre will help to identify these difficulties and make guidance plans to work though them. Support will be provided through counselling, family therapy, emotional regulation techniques, support groups, psychometric testing etc.
