Diagnostic Testing and Assessments
Psychological tests are scientifically formulated instruments used to assess several mental attributes and capacities. They provide insight in areas of intelligence and ability, cognitive abilities and aptitude, neurological functioning, personality, and behaviour. Results from the tests act as a guiding light for diagnosis and making further treatment plans. They can help people to make decisions for their relationships, emotional problems, careers, school choices and many other things.
There are many categories in which tests are divided based on the outcome they serve :

Testing for Children:

There are Intelligence Quotient Assessments (I.Q) indicative of a child’s potential and intellectual functioning. Their result shows the areas in which an individual can excel in comparison with his/her age group. They measure ability to problem solve, logically apply reason, language, numerical abilities, creativity etc.
We also conduct testing to rule out Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), other Developmental disorders and behavioral & emotional issues.

Neuropsychological assessment to assess children with Epilepsy, Brain injury, Specific learning disability (SLD) are also conducted .
Aptitude and Interest Tests :

Being aware of one’s aptitude (strengths and weaknesses) along with one’s interests can give us a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s plausible successes.
They are used mainly when people want to select which careers they are most suited for.
A complete battery of various tests is desirable to get a picture of person's capabilities, aptitude and interests is administered.
Personality Tests :

Personality tests give an insight into the traits and characteristics that a person has. They are used for understanding a person better, find reasons for their emotional difficulties and changes and diagnosing psychological problems and disorders. They help us to understand patterns of personality and presence of psychopathology in the case of individuals that may have severe emotional disturbances. Most widely used type of personality tests are self report tests and projective tests.
Psycho-diagnostic Tests :

For some individuals it becomes crucial to assess and clarify the psychological issues presented to make a clinical diagnosis. The extent of their emotional disturbance is paramount and this diagnosis helps to design appropriate and effective treatment plans.
Assessment for Gender Incongruence

We do conduct assessment for the clients with Gender dysphoria / Incongruence which is helpful for them to undergo Gender reassign therapy treatment. Appropriate referrals are also made based on the requirements of the clients.
* Tests Administration is carried out with proper rationale. Post tests conduction, report generation and Report writing are integral part of assessment procedure.
